Thanks for visiting Terlingua
House on the web. Terlingua House is a 4-room, 2-bath adobe styled
property located 2 miles west of Terlingua, Texas between Big Bend
National Park and Big Bend Ranch State Park.
Terlingua
House consists of three bedrooms and a complete kitchen. Two of the
bedrooms are equipped with queen-size beds, and one also has a single
bed with roll out trundle. The “Studio” has one double
bed and sitting area. The Studio is the “honeymoon suite”
of the property with a beautiful view looking onto the Chisos Mountains
of Big Bend National Park. The fourth room is the kitchen with a built
in daybed on one end.
Terlingua House has a very
quiet, secluded feeling for one couple, while still being only minutes
away from the best restaurants and local activities. It is equally
comfortable for two or three couples.
Although normal occupancy
is two to six people, for families, extended families or small groups,
Terlingua House is great. Terlingua House can easily sleep up to eight.

contact us to discuss the details.
The
kitchen is complete with refrigerator, outside gas grill, deep freeze,
stove, microwave, dishes and silverware, but there is no dishwasher,
if you want to cook but don’t want to wash dishes, please bring
paper and plastic. Complete linens and towels
are also provided.
The property
surrounding Terlingua House consists of 15 acres, including a great
lookout point and a section of Long Draw running across one side of
the property. It is easily accessible and easy to find along the River
Road (TX 170).
The night sky is absolutely
gorgeous, almost as nice as sunrise over the Chisos Mountains. You
will find a telescope on location to enhance these spectacular views,
but don't forget your binoculars.
The rental fee for TerlinguaHouse
is $220/night with a two-night minimum and a one time cleaning and
restocking fee of $75 (for over a 6-person occupancy, we add $20 per person to the cleaning/restocking fee). This includes all three bedrooms and the kitchen.
Chili Cookoff week (first week in November) is $275/night with a 5-night
minimum. Sorry, no pets or horses, firearms or ATV's.

In January, after the New Years Holiday, February, May, June &
July with every two-night rental, you get one night free.
Two Free Nights:
In August, September and the first two weeks of December for every
two nights you rent, you get two nights free.
